Bothkinds project space is an artist-run centre located Vancouver BC, with a mission to provide an inclusive framework that supports the creation and public dissemination of experimental, interdisciplinary, and non- commercially driven artistic projects.  By supporting exploration and fostering collaboration, we provoke new discourse surrounding materials practices and public engagement with the arts in the DTES.
We produce public exhibitions and programming that encourages brave and critical dialog between artists, curators, educators and other regional creatives.

As a combined education, and exhibition space, we bring together conversation from many areas of materials practice, encouraging creative engagement with contemporary culture production and processes.

The project space supports the creative freedom of artists by providing an alternative to established institutions in which to experiment and test out new approaches to artistic practices and exhibition strategy. Artist-led exhibitions are emphasized, however, proposals are welcome from curators, collectives, designers, critics, scholars, students, community, literary, musical and cultural groups.

Bothkinds Project Space acknowledges its location in the Downtown Eastside neighbourhood of Vancouver, on the stolen, sacred, and ancestral homelands of the xwməθkwəy’əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nation
